Admittedly I don’t do a good job of direct instruction about copyright. I don’t know why, but it’s just one of those topics that I don’t think about until I get into a project. I did show my students how to cite their work for an essay, but it was a rushed lesson with little foundation. I think using this simple graphic will help me feel less overwhelmed with the whole topic. I must make it priority from the beginning to continue building on it throughout the year.
